Joyhours is a web/mobile application designed to Easily Connect you to suitable hobbies. I myself found when trying to find a new hobby that most applications would simply throw lists at you.
Joyhours instead looks through the attributes of a hobby and attempts to quickly match you with the most suitable - it does this by looking at what you've already 'liked' and finding similar hobbies.
The more hobbies you look at, the better we get to know you which means we can identify the hobbies we feel you'd be most interested in trying out!

Trying to find a new hobby can be daunting - we aim to make it easy. Just 'like' or 'dislike' a hobby and the app will do the rest - we also hand pick suitable items to get started!

The idea for Joyhours came to us when we were trying to find our own hobbies, but everything available when we looked tended to be lists or alternatively articles with a description attached.
List are boring and Articles are great if you can find them by putting your own feelings into words - but we don't always know what it is that makes us 'like' something.
There's a distinction between different hobbies that 'on paper' are similar but in practise are very different. A person who enjoys Football might dislike Rugby, a person who likes reading may dislike writing.
We looked at these hobbies and applied many attributes to them - this means that Football isn't just an 'Outdoor Sport' It's Competative! It's active! It's popular!
